Jonnie is G&D Auto’s mechanical technician and the face of our mobile mechanic service. He carries out vehicle assessments, diagnostics and mechanical repairs, helping customers understand what their vehicles need before any additional work is approved.

G&D operates a full automotive bodywork and painting facility for major collision damage, dent and panel repairs, preparation, refinishing and full vehicle resprays. This is a workshop-based service, not a mobile repair offering. Request an assessment and share photographs of the damage so our team can review your vehicle.

Is the $90 call-out fee required?
Yes. The $90 fee must be paid to confirm a mobile booking and is separate from service and diagnostic charges.
How much is a diagnostic visit?
$165 for the diagnostic assessment plus the $90 mobile call-out fee, totaling $255 before repairs or parts.
What if additional repairs are needed?
We explain the issue and proposed additional cost and obtain your approval before carrying out any work beyond the agreed scope.
Can I provide my own parts?
Yes, subject to compatibility. If G&D sources and purchases parts, a 25% procurement fee applies and 100% of parts and materials costs must be paid before ordering.
Can I receive my call-out fee back?
Completed jobs with $500 or more in labour charges qualify for a $90 credit against the final invoice. Parts and procurement charges do not count.
What is the cancellation notice?
We request at least 24 hours' notice. Detailed cancellation and refund terms will be confirmed before bookings go live.
Pricing varies with vehicle make, model, condition and scope. An agreed price covers the defined work. We will explain and obtain approval for additional work before proceeding.
